A 350-bed Nevada hospital is seeking a Director of Infection Prevention to lead its Infection Prevention program. The position is open due to the departure of the previous incumbent. Core responsibilities include HAI surveillance and reporting, NHSN data management and reporting, staff education and competency training, environmental rounding and ICRA oversight.

This is a 350-bed acute care hospital within a six-hospital health system, offering comprehensive women’s services with a Level III NICU, cardiac care, stroke treatment, and minimally invasive surgical capabilities. The facility is a teaching hospital within an ACGME-accredited GME consortium offering multiple residency programs. It has earned recognition for Coronary Intervention Excellence and is rated high performing in multiple adult procedures. Current departmental priorities include MRSA prevention and reduction, giving the incoming IP a clear and impactful focus from day one.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree and CIC certification. Prior Infection Prevention experience is valued, making this a strong opportunity for someone looking to grow or continue building in the specialty.
