We are seeking an experienced Infection Preventionist to take on the role of Registered Nurse Infection Control Specialist in Arizona. This position is responsible for coordinating infection control efforts within 2 hospitals, ensuring compliance with CMS, OSHA, and other regulatory bodies. The role involves conducting surveillance of high-risk populations, monitoring communicable disease outbreaks, and identifying potential sources of infection within the facility. Reporting to the Director of Infection Prevention, the Infection Control Specialist also oversees follow-up activities and provides support to Employee Health Services as needed. This is a full-time position with day shift hours.

Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited nursing program or possess equivalent experience, with a preference for individuals who have at least one year of experience in infection control or epidemiology within an acute care setting. A valid RN license for the state of Arizona is required, and certification by the National Board of Infection Control (CIC) is preferred.
