We are looking for a certified Infection Preventionist to step into the role of Infection Preventionist 4, a senior level staff opening at a 400+ bed acute care hospital. Joining four IPs and a data analyst, you will assist with planning, implementing, and evaluating infection prevention and control under the guidance of the Director of Infection Prevention.

A Certification in Infection Control from the CBIC is required along with at least 2 years of Infection Prevention experience in the acute care setting. You will need to have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, along with at least 3 additional years of healthcare experience. A Registered Nurse with a CA license and Master’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, or a related field are both highly preferred.

As part of a reputable health system, this hospital provides over 65 specialty care services, employs over 800 physicians, has a 7-day urgent care, 24 hour pharmacy, and almost 100 beds in their emergency department. Not only is the 400+ bed medical center at Magnet status, it also has its advanced certification as a Primary Stroke Center by The Joint Commission.

The town is a diverse city nestled against one of the most famous cities in California. It contains a rich history and  vibrant community with numerous parks, restaurants, and shopping centers.
