Clutch Recruitment is partnering with a leading health system in Florida to hire a Senior Infection Preventionist for a full-time, days role. This position plays a key role in protecting patients from healthcare-associated infections by leading surveillance, reporting, and interventions that strengthen Infection Prevention practices across the facility.

This role is ideal for an experienced RN who can work independently—owning priorities, partnering with clinical leaders, and ensuring accurate NHSN submissions and HAI reporting. The position reports to the Director of Quality and will support coordination of Infection Prevention work within the department.

Required: Active RN and BSN with minimum 5 years of clinical/related experience. Must have hands-on experience with NHSN and HAI surveillance/reporting, plus a demonstrated ability to work independently and communicate effectively with frontline staff and leadership. CIC is preferred, or willingness/ability to obtain within 1 year of hire. Nice to have: SSI reduction experience.

This is a full-service acute care hospital in Florida with approximately 400 beds and an average daily census of around 230. The Infection Prevention program collaborates closely with Quality, Nursing, Medical Staff, Environmental Services, and operational leaders to maintain reliable surveillance, reduce preventable infections, and support regulatory readiness.
