Privacy Policy

Information you give us. When you fill out a form — contacting us, introducing yourself as a candidate, requesting a report, or subscribing to the VIP Weekly — we collect the details you provide, which may include your name, email address, job title, employer or facility, phone number, and anything you write in a message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we collect limited technical and usage information — such as your device and browser type, pages viewed, and referring links — through cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies & analytics).

Email engagement. When we send the VIP Weekly, our email provider may record whether a message was delivered, opened, or its links clicked, so we can measure and improve the newsletter and honor unsubscribe requests.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business, with service providers who process data on our behalf under contract:

• HubSpot — our CRM and forms platform, which stores contact and form-submission data.
• Postmark — delivers the VIP Weekly newsletter.
• Twilio — carries the text messages and calls between our recruiters and you (see Text messaging).
• Google Analytics — helps us understand site usage.
• YouTube (Google) — powers embedded podcast and video players; your interaction with an embedded player is subject to Google’s privacy policy.
• Fourthwall — operates our merch storefront and handles any related orders and payments as the merchant of record.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences, and measure usage through Google Analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking some may affect how the site works. Our analytics are configured to avoid collecting more than we need to understand aggregate usage.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time — we honor requests promptly. You may also update your preferences or ask us to stop contacting you by emailing info@clutchrecruitment.com. Note that we may still send you non-marketing messages related to an active engagement or request.

What we collect and how we use it for texting. When you tick the optional “Text me about roles that fit my requests” box on one of our forms (unchecked by default; consent is never a condition of submitting a form or using our services) — or you text or call a recruiter first, we store your number, your name, and what you told us you are looking for, and use them only so a recruiter can text you one-to-one about roles that fit what you asked for, interview scheduling and reminders, and follow-ups. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude your mobile number and your texting consent; we use them only to communicate with you, and Twilio carries the messages on our behalf.

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain our business relationship, and meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations — after which we delete or de-identify it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email info@clutchrecruitment.com. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising a right.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Our sites and content are intended for professionals and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes may be communicated by email or a notice on the site.
